My third step would be to find a replacement for Google Search and Google Chrome to stop Google from tracking me on the phone. The tracking from this would be the same as described in part 1 and 2 of my privacy posts.
This one was rather simple, I installed Brave browser and used Duckduckgo as my default search engine. Brave also blocks ads and tracking on android like it does on the PC. While using this setup on my PC and phone, I began to notice that ads were no longer targeting me with interests or stuff I had searched for. So how did I figure out about the ads when I keep them blocked. I checked Facebook from my phone and noticed that the sponsored ads now started to show stuff related to my ISP and a lot of makeup and baby stuff, as my fiancée still used Chrome and Google search for a while, but she also switched to Brave, but I think she still uses google. I will most likely figure out if she does once she has read my blogpost.
